Brockville – Registration is now open for the Brockville Museum’s new Community Walks!
Join the Brockville Museum on the last Saturday of the month at 10:00 am from April to November to explore Brockville’s unique and fascinating history on foot with one of three guided walking tours being offered this year.
Discover how Brockville’s geography, industrial past, and people have shaped this riverfront community.
First up, taking place on April 26th, is the Hidden Histories of Blockhouse Island. This small, yet iconic, piece of Brockville’s landscape is home to a great deal of Brockville’s history – if you know where to look!
This casual stroll takes us on an approximately 1.5km loop along Brockville’s waterfront.
Other walks include Exploring the Brock Trail on May 31 and Stories from the East End on June 28. Visit the museum’s website for more information.
Walks are roughly 90 minutes in length. Tickets are $12 plus HST and must be purchased in advance. Tickets can be purchased in person at the museum’s front desk during operating hours, or fill out our registration form online.
Have a group of 7 or more, or these dates and times don’t work for you? Consider booking your own private tour (starting at just $80 + HST)! Details on our website: https://brockvillemuseum.com/
