Brockville – The Brockville Multicultural Festival is back after a five-year hiatus. The 39th annual festival will be held on Friday, May 9th and Saturday, May 10th, at the Brockville Memorial Centre.
Video Story Below:
The last festival was held in 2019, then COVID hit, and it was cancelled for two years. It took a while for volunteer organizers to get back up and running again. The Council presented the annual Brockville Multicultural Festival for 38 years, from 1981 to 2019.
Come out and experience a variety of cultural foods, entertainment, educational booths and crafts, dance and performances from around the world and fun for the whole family.
Organized by the Brockville & District Multicultural Council, which is an organization of cultural groups and individuals who aim to work towards a society that ensures and enjoys the viability of a strong Canadian identity firmly grounded in the multicultural nature of the population.
The festival runs on Friday, May 9th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and again on Saturday, May 10th from Noon until 9:00 pm at the Memorial Centre.
Tickets are $5, and Children 12 & under are free. Tickets, cash only, are available at the door.
