Brockville – Brockville’s Kristina “Killer Bee” Mabry continues her winning streak by defeating Newfoundland’s Amanda Roberts, earning the WAKO title Canadian Featherweight Kickboxing Champion by unanimous decision in a Toronto bout this past weekend.
In the first 2 rounds, both athletes squared off toe to toe, landing evenly matched strikes. Mabry scored a decisive standing eight count against Roberts in the 3rd round, securing the victory.
“I’m grateful and dedicate this title to all the clubs who helped me achieve my dream,” said Mabry. “I couldn’t have done it without their support. ”
The former Miss Brockville pageant queen trains out of Canadian Black Belt Centres, Legends Boxing Academy, SouthPaw Boxing Club and Thousand Islands Warriors.

Mabry recently recruited the Legendary Jean-Yves Theriault of Therien Jiu Jitsu and Kickboxing in Ottawa to polish her skills for this bout and a future world title shot in the fall.
“Kristina has reached an elite level, and her future opponents are going to be challenging,” said Head Coach Mark Johnson. “Everyone wants to fight the Champ.”
Mabry’s next fight is May 31st in Peterbourgh, facing off with a seasoned opponent and recent Pan Am Games Bronze medalist.
On June 21st, she’s scheduled to fight in Gatineau on Jean-Yves Theriault’s Iceman Kickboxing circuit.
Mabry will be travelling to Abu Dhabi with Team Canada, vying for a world championship title in November.
