Young people were encouraged to pick up their phones or cameras and make a short video that celebrates something in their life or community, shows a solution to a problem or showcases their opinion!
The MyView Youth Film Festival launched in 2013 as a collaborative initiative between the Kemptville Youth Centre, the Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit and Triune Films, aimed at providing young filmmakers in the North Grenville area with a platform to express themselves to and about the local community.
In 2025, it expanded to include most of Eastern Ontario.
The Brockville Arts Centre & City of Brockville Cultural Services is proud to host this celebration of youth voices and film-making at the Awards Ceremony.
