Prescott – Leeds Grenville Small Business will launch both Summer Company 2025 and Starter Company Plus 2025 on Tuesday, June 10th, at the Prescott Town Hall Grand room.
Launching together, from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm, “this significant step supports and celebrates entrepreneurship across the region. It’s your opportunity to acknowledge the longevity of these programs; to meet and interview both youth and adult participants, and to discover new and exciting businesses that are opening and expanding their operations,” said Carol Hardy, Small Business Development Officer at Leeds Grenville Small Business
This year, Summer Company celebrates 25 years of supporting economic growth for the Counties! Both of these initiatives aim to foster entrepreneurial spirit and provide essential supports through training, mentorship, and funding.

About the Programs
Summer Company provides five local youth with the opportunity to start and run their own businesses this summer, receiving a $3,000 grant, business training, and mentorship.
Starter Company Plus supports adult entrepreneurs from across the region as they build and grow their businesses. Participants are currently undergoing foundational training and will soon pitch for up to $5,000 in grant funding.
