Brockville – This year’s Brockville Canada Day celebrations will have a new location. This year, instead of Court House Green, it will be held at Hardy Park.
Come out on Tuesday, July 1st, as the city celebrates Canada’s 158th birthday with a full day of community fun.
Here’s what’s happening:
- 11:45 am – Classic Brockville tradition: a march from City Hall led by the Brockville Pipe & Drum Corps, local heroes, and dignitaries. The parade starts at City Hall and ends at the Hardy Park gazebo
- Noon – National anthem performed by AJ Benoit, followed by remarks from Mayor Matt Wren and free cupcakes for all!
- 12:30 pm – Live music from “AJ and The Royal Canadians” and other local musicians (to be announced!). Bring your lawn chair or blanket.
- 9:30 pm – Fireworks over the St. Lawrence River at Blockhouse Island
