
Brockville – On Thursday, June 19th Counties Council honoured the outstanding career and well-earned retirement of Greg Davies, a dedicated and respected paramedic whose service has spanned over three decades.
Greg began his journey in paramedicine on April 13, 1994, with Brockville Ambulance Service, quickly demonstrating a strong commitment to patient care and teamwork. His versatility and work ethic shone through as he served both Brockville and North Leeds Ambulance Service, showcasing his deep sense of duty to the residents of Leeds and Grenville.
In January 2001, Greg transitioned into a full-time position with the newly formed Leeds Grenville Paramedic Service under the direction of the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville. Since then, he has been a valued and consistent presence, known for his calm demeanour, professionalism, and unwavering reliability.
Throughout his career, Greg has mentored many new paramedics, been a trusted colleague on countless emergency calls, and provided compassionate care to those in need. His quiet strength and deep reservoir of knowledge have left a lasting impact on the service and the wider community.
As Greg steps away from the profession, we extend our heartfelt thanks for his many years of service, dedication, and integrity. He leaves behind a legacy of excellence, compassion, and professionalism that will continue to inspire those who follow in his footsteps.
