Canada Day 2025 in Brockville

Brockville – Come out to Canada Day celebrations in Brockville on Tuesday, July 1st, to celebrate Canada’s 158th Birthday.

This year, there is a change of venue. Instead of Courthouse Green, Canada Day ceremony and activities will be held at Hardy/Centennial Park, with the ceremony being held at the gazebo.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the live music all afternoon at Hardy Park.

Everything gets underway starting at 11:45 am with the Canada Day march starting from City Hall led by the Brockville Pipe & Drum Corps, local heroes, and dignitaries and ending at the Hardy Park gazebo.

At noon is the National anthem is performed by AJ Benoit, followed by remarks from Mayor Matt Wren and free cupcakes for all.

Live music will see AJ and the Royal Canadians perform at 12:15 pm, Siobhan McGovern at 1:00 pm, I Am Kentucky at 1:45 pm, and Jarred Sine at 2:30 pm.

Starting around 9:30 pm will be a fireworks show over the St. Lawrence River at Blockhouse Island.

At the Brockville Legion ball field, there will be a free-for-all, entertainment designed for children 12 & under. It runs from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm with free games, a petting zoo, a singing mermaid, and Puppet shows. a magic show, face painting and more.

At the Brockville Legion Branch 96, there will be a Canada Day BBQ, Cash Bar, live music by Ian Roy and games starting at 5:00 pm. Free entry.
