Elbows UP Showing Solidarity with Canadian Neighbours!

Ogdensburg, NY – Elbows Up for Canada, an international day of action showing solidarity to Canada by our American neighbours is being held this Saturday, July 5th along the St. Lawrence.
Ogdensburg area boaters will present the St. Lawrence River Friendship Flotilla, which will leave Ogdensburg and boat to Fort Wellington in Prescott to greet their Canadian neighbours, then they will continue, leaving at 2:45 pm to Brockville or Morrisburg.
The flotilla is expected to arrive at Blockhouse Island in Brockville at 3:15 pm and Morrisburg Beach at the same time.
They say they are doing it to support their long-term international friendship.
Supposedly there are similar events along the entire US/Canada border on Saturday.
A series of peaceful, purposeful rallies, celebrations and protests to show Canada, the US government and the world, that we stand in solidarity with Canada.
July 5th events will run the length of the longest border in the world, with groups from Alaska to Washington state to Montana to Detroit to Niagara Falls to Vermont.
