161st Lansdowne Fair Begins This Thursday & Runs Until Sunday

Lansdowne – The 161st Lansdowne Fair begins this Thursday, July 17th and runs until Sunday, July 20th at the Lansdowne Fairgrounds.

The fun-filled country fair with lots to see and do, with live music on Thursday night with Country Legends, Tribute to Garth & Shania, a demolition derby on Saturday night, and a Truck and Tractor Pull on Sunday.

As well as lots of midway rides by World’s Finest Shows, children’s activities, and horse shows.

Tickets are, $10 for Thursday and Friday daily admission. $15 for Saturday and Sunday daily admission. Children 12 and under are free.

A weekend pass is $40 and can be purchased in advance at the Fair Office from July 14th to 18th.

Gates open at 3:00 pm on Thursday and Friday, and 8:00 am on Saturday and Sunday.

Opening day, Thursday, will see Colby Davis, Sheep Shearing demonstrations, Mini King & Queen Contest, Opening Ceremonies, and live music by Country Legends Tribute to Garth & Shania.

Friday will see a Seniors’ Fun Art Paint Party, Seniors’ Day, Sheep Shearing demonstrations, Seniors Games, and Draft Horse Pull. Live music on Friday will be by Blue River Band.

Saturday will see Toasted Metal Forge, Chainsaw Carver, Heavy Horse Show and Miniature Horse Show, Mary Lambert Children’s Music, Face Painting, Hay Bale Throwing Contest and more. Live music on Saturday will see Bill White and the White Brothers. Saturday night is the Demolition Derby.

On Sunday, there will be a Pancake Breakfast, Antique/Classic Car Show, Clydesdale Power Strongman/Strong Woman Competition, a Baby Contest, Junior Fair board Water Fun, Chicken BBQ, Tractor Pulls, a talent show, kiddie Pedal Tractor Pull and more.

Live music on Sunday will include County Road 5 Blue Grass.
