
Delta – It is that time of year again as the 195th Anniversary Edition of the Delta Fair is taking place this weekend from Thursday, July 24th to Sunday, July 27th at the Delta Fairgrounds.
The Delta Agricultural Society has been providing Family Fun at the fair since 1830.
Everything gets underway on Thursday when the gates open at noon. Opening Ceremonies will be held on Thursday evening, starting at 6:00 pm, where the Citizen of the Year and Youth Award of Excellence will be acknowledged.
The fair will feature lots of things to see and do including the Mini King & Queen Pageant, Ambassador Pageant, Chainsaw Carving, Truck Pull, Children’s Races, Goat Show, Baby Show, Horse Draw & Show, Lawn Mower Races, Antique Tractor Pull, Children’s Pedal Tractor Pull, the Fair Parade, a Petting Farm & Pony Rides, exhibits and more.
World’s Finest Shows Midway will run from Thursday and Friday from 2 pm to 10 pm, Saturday, 11 am to 11 pm and Sunday, 11 am to 5 pm.
Live music at the fair will see a Live Elvis Show, Outskirts, Celebrating the music of Blue Rodeo, SOS: The ABBA Experience and Jeff Code and the Silver Wings Band.
Admission to this weekend’s fair is $10 for Adults aged 13 years and over, for each day (HST Included). 42 for Children ages 5 to 12 years. Children under. Four-Day Admission Pass is $35. Passes are not transferable; available until July 24th.
