Merrickville – The 5th Annual Merrickville Festival of the Arts is being held this Saturday, July 26th and Sunday, July 27th, at Blockhouse Park on the banks of the Rideau River.
The Festival kicks off on Friday night, July 25th, with a free concert starting at 7:00 pm at The Pews for an unforgettable performance by the popular indie/folk group Arbour Season.
The festival runs from 10 am to 5 pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
The Merrickville Organization for Culture & the Arts (MOCA) is pleased to partner with the Merrickville Arts Guild (MAG) and Theatre Night in Merrickville (TNIM) to host the 5th Merrickville Festival of the Arts in Blockhouse Park.
Experience a talented lineup of local musicians throughout the village on various porches, Drumming Circle, Family Fun: Storytelling & Arts for children, Flash Mob dance, Theatre Night in Merrickville live performances, and 30+ artists from Merrickville Arts Guild & North Grenville area showcasing their creativity.
Admission is free to all.
