Brockville Bunnies Split Pair of Games on Sunday

Brockville – The Brockville Bunnies split a pair of games in Kingston on Sunday, playing the Kingston Ponies 18u White team.

In game one, the Bunnies lost 9-4 to the Ponies. They took a 4-2 lead into the bottom of the 6th, but surrendered 4 walks and 4 hits and gave up 7 runs to lose control of the game.

Charlie Todd got the loss despite going 5 strong innings before the trouble began with Aaron Roy in relief. Levi Biller doubled with singles by Lukus Doak, Hunter Sanger, Zadok Roiger and Wyatt Last.

In game two, the Bunnies won 8-4 over the Kingston Ponies. Sanger with the complete game win, giving up 4 hits and only 2 walks.

Biller led the 12-hit attack with 4 singles. Last, with his 2nd home run of the season and he also singled. Adam Bergman had 2 hits (s,d) with singles by Wyatt Brandwood, Todd, Sanger and Roiger.

The Brockville Bunnies will host Watson Elite 16u at Fulford Park for a doubleheader starting at 11 am and 1:30 pm this Saturday. The Bunnies return the favour in Ottawa on Sunday.

The CanAm League playoffs will be held the following weekend to close out the summer season.
