City of Brockville Construction Notice: Milling and Paving, Road Rehabilitation to start August 11th

Brockville – The City of Brockville will start Road Rehabilitation on various City streets in August and September. The top 40mm (1 ½”) of asphalt will be removed by a cold milling process and then replaced with new hot mix asphalt within the following couple of weeks.

  • Expected Start Date: August 11th, 2025
  • Expected End Date: September 19th, 2025

The timeline is subject to change pending weather conditions. Future notice to be provided if changes are necessary.

  1. King Street East: from North Augusta Road to the East City Limit
  2. Laurier Boulevard: from California Avenue to Broome Road
  3. Laurier Boulevard and California Avenue intersection
  4. James Street: from Park Street to Ormond Street
  5. Central Avenue: from Ormond Street, 70 metres east
  6. Ormond Street: from Central Avenue, 145 metres south
  7. Central Avenue and Ormond Street intersection
  8. Elm Street North: from Brock Street to the bridge
  9. Elm Street South: from the bridge to Abbott Street
  10. William Street: from Pearl Street to Brock Street (base of bridge)
  11. Stewart Boulevard: from north of the base of the bridge to Front Avenue
  12. Hill Street: from Pearl Street to James Street
  13. Kent Boulevard: from Parkedale Avenue to the Cul de Sac
  14. Millwood Avenue: from Morris Court to Liston Avenue
  15. Liston Avenue: from Milwood Avenue, 60 metres west
  16. Fairmont Drive: from Reynolds Drive to the Cul de Sac
  17. Hubbell Street: from Strowger Boulevard to the west city limit.

This work will be completed by G. Tackaberry & Sons Construction Co. Ltd.
