Charleston Lake – Charleston Lake Provincial Park is celebrating its 50th anniversary this Saturday, August 2nd, along with the 30th anniversary of The Friends of Charleston Lake.
Join them for a full day filled with events and activities for the whole family.
It is being held behind the Discovery Centre at Charleston Lake Provincial Park from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm with live music by Chris Shannon & Nephew Rhys.
There will be free cake as well as BBQ Lunch (Cash Only) with all proceeds supporting the Friends of Charleston Lake Park Pavilion Project.
DISCOVERY EVENTS:
10 AM – Old-Fashioned Picnic Games at the Field by the Playground
4 PM – Rocks & Ruins Guided Hike at Sandstone Island Trail
7 PM – Legends & Lore at the Amphitheatre
