VIDEO: 39th 1000 Islands-Kingston Poker Run Being Held This Weekend

Lunch stop in Brockville again this year!

Kingston/Brockville – The 39th 1000 Islands-Kingston Poker Run is being held this weekend, Saturday, August 9th, starting from Kingston.

The 1000 Islands-Kingston Poker Run is one of the World’s first Poker Runs America-sanctioned events, and this year, it enters its 39th consecutive year, August 8-10, 2025. (The official Poker Run is always on Saturday.)

With more than 40,000 spectators lining the shores of the St. Lawrence River to catch a glimpse of the most powerful and colourful boats in the World!

Power Boating Canada /Poker Runs America’s 1000 Islands-Kingston Poker Run will once again host “Electric Avenue” – a spectacular display of the latest EV technology, including automobiles, boats, and accessories on Ontario Street in front of Confederation Basin.

Highlights of the “Electric Avenue” displays will be the latest Avator outboard motors from Mercury Marine; BMW Kingston will display their EV automobiles; Kingston Hyundai, Carlofts.ca Ford Lightning, Voltari Performance Boats and some of the Kingston boat dealers will also exhibit the latest in marine EV technology… You may even see the spectacular Axopar boat – along with some of the World’s most powerful boats, including My Way.

Watch (and hear) the boats Saturday, August 9th at 10 am for the official poker run start or catch them upon their return to Kingston at approximately 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm. You can also view the boats from the water along the poker run route and card stops.

Once again this year, the lunch stop will be in Brockville, where the boats will be docked around Blockhouse Island from approximately noon until 2:00 pm.

Saturday at 8:30 pm, you can be part of the poker run card unveiling at Springer Market Square as the teams find out who has the best poker hand and is declared the King/Queen of 1000 Islands.

Card stop #1 is in Kingston at 10:00 am, Card stop #2 is at 11:00 am at The Landing at Ivy Lea, Card stop #3 is for lunch in Brockville at noon, Card stop #4 is at Rockport’s Hucks Marine & Resort, with the final card stop, #5 back in Kingston around 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
