Brockville – On August 10, 2025, at about 1:30 am, police received a 911 call regarding suspects breaking into R&P Petroleum at 690 Stewart Boulevard.
Officers responded quickly to the scene and found that the suspects had left just before their arrival.
Investigation revealed that the building had been entered, and multiple food and beverage items were stolen. A full inventory of items is still being composed.
Video surveillance revealed that the two suspects had pulled up to the front of the store in a black 2021 Honda Pilot, which was reported stolen out of New Brunswick. The suspects covered their faces with masks and then exited the vehicle to make entry into the building.
One suspect attempted to block the camera by discharging a fire extinguisher while the second suspect made entry. Within only a few
minutes, the suspects exited the store, activating the alarm and fleeing the scene.
Multiple items were seized for forensic identification purposes, and the investigation is continuing.
