
Brockville – The Children’s Services Department of the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville will be hosting its annual Touch-A-Truck this Friday, August 22nd, at the Brockville Memorial Centre parking lot.
The free community & family event runs from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and will feature various working vehicles for kids to learn and explore. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to explore and interact with numerous vehicles, including those from emergency services, construction, public transportation, and more.
There will be a BBQ hosted by the United Way of Leeds & Grenville, with donations welcomed.
This year’s event is made possible through the generosity and support of our community partners: Correctional Services Recruitment Unit, Tackaberry Construction, United Counties of Leeds and Grenville Paramedics, Hydro One, Bandit Motorsports, Brockville Police Services, United Counties of Leeds and Grenville Public Works, Brockville Fire Department, Student Transportation of Eastern Ontario (STEO), Triple P Parenting (LLGHU), The City of Brockville, Brockville Tourism, Infant Child Development Program (KidsInclusive), Amanda Rowan-Miletich (CPSAC), and the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville Children’s Services/EarlyON.
