Brockville Construction Notice: UPDATED START DATE – Milling and Paving, Road Rehabilitation to start August 25th

Brockville – The City of Brockville has announced an updated start date for Road Rehabilitation on various City streets.

They will start road rehabilitation on August 25th with an expected end date of September 19th, 2025.

The timeline is subject to change pending weather conditions. Future notice to be provided if changes are necessary.

The top 40mm (1 ½”) of asphalt will be removed by a cold milling process and then replaced with new hot mix asphalt within the following couple of weeks.

  • King Street East: from North Augusta Road to the East City Limit
  • Laurier Boulevard: from California Avenue to Broome Road
  • Laurier Boulevard and California Avenue intersection
  • James Street: from Park Street to Ormond Street
  • Central Avenue: from Ormond Street, 70 metres east
  • Ormond Street: from Central Avenue, 145 metres south
  • Central Avenue and Ormond Street intersection
  • Elm Street North: from Brock Street to the bridge
  • Elm Street South: from the bridge to Abbott Street
  • William Street: from Pearl Street to Brock Street (base of bridge)
  • Stewart Boulevard: from north of the base of the bridge to Front Avenue
  • Hill Street: from Pearl Street to James Street
  • Kent Boulevard: from Parkedale Avenue to the Cul de Sac
  • Millwood Avenue: from Morris Court to Liston Avenue
  • Liston Avenue: from Milwood Avenue, 60 metres west
  • Fairmont Drive: from Reynolds Drive to the Cul de Sac
  • Hubbell Street: from Strowger Boulevard to the west city limit.

This work will be completed by G. Tackaberry & Sons Construction Co. Ltd.
