Celebrating 20 Years – One Last Dance!

Brockville – The 20th Red Hot & Blue (RHB) Rockabilly Weekend, and the final one, is being held from August 28th to 31st in Brockville.
“After two unforgettable decades, this year marks the final Red Hot & Blue Rockabilly Weekend — and we’re going out in style with 4 days of non-stop music and vintage fun,” said Nathalie Lavergne, organizer of the event.
There will be 14 bands, the top Rockin’ DJs from around the scene, free jive lessons on Saturday, a Saturday Vintage Market, a Sunday Surfin’ Cruise, and a legendary wrap party to end it all with a bang.
Join in as they celebrate 20 incredible years and say farewell to a weekend that made rockabilly history. Don’t miss your last chance to be part of it!
Evenings at St John’s United Church, Saturday afternoon at St Lawrence Park and Sunday cruise, departing from Blockhouse Island.
Opening night will be held on Thursday, August 28th, at Arts Hub at St. John’s United Church. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. with a welcome cocktail to get you in the mood. Full Cash Bar on site with cold beer and limited drink specials all night. Live music by Jeanne Truax (ON). A powerhouse vocalist with classic rockabilly roots. Jeanne delivers raw, heartfelt performances inspired by the early femmes of rock’n’roll and country. A rising Ontario talent with a true retro soul!
Day 2 on Friday will see a night of rockabilly, dancing, and vintage vibes at St. John’s United Church. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. with a welcome cocktail. Full Cash Bar with cold beer and drink specials until 2 a.m.. Live music by Three for a Buck (ON), Ottawa’s traditional country, rockabilly, hillbilly, honky-tonk trio with authentic 1950s sounds—perfect for dancing and backing our special guest.
Hell Bent Rockers (ON). Hamilton’s high-energy rockabilly quartet has been known for over a decade for authentic ’50s sounds. Returning RHB favourites with Billy T’s powerhouse vocals, David Nicoloff’s punk-influenced guitar, “Lucky” Pete Lambert’s rock-solid drums, and Les Graham’s slappin’ upright bass.
Little Rachel (USA). The Little Gal with the Big Voice! A true rockabilly powerhouse with acclaimed recordings and worldwide festival appearances—including several unforgettable RHB sets. Always a crowd-pleaser with unmatched charisma! Bonus: Backed by Three for a Buck for that true rockabilly sound.
Day 3 on Saturday will see the RHB Beach Party at St. Lawrence Park, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enjoy a full day of music, dancing, shopping, and vintage fun right on the river. Surf music and tiki atmosphere all day, Miss/Mr/Couple Swimsuit 2025 Contest – show off your best vintage beachwear for prizes and bragging rights! Free Jive Dance Lessons to get you ready for the evening shows. Vintage Market with vendors selling retro clothes, records, art, accessories & more. Live music by Fuzz Vultures (ON) and The Treble Tones (ON).
Saturday evening at St. John’s United Church will feature live music from Shook Boys (Toronto, ON), Johnny Gunner (UK) and Sloe Gin Fizz (QC), along with classic vinyl spun by guest DJs.
The final day on Sunday will feature the Surf Cruise from 3:45 PM – 6:00 PM. Featuring live music from Mark Malibu & the Wasagas and the Babalooneys.
Sunday evening at St. John’s United Church will feature Allez Cats (ON) and Peter & the Wolves (AB).
