Female Charged for Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle

Brockville – On August 26, 2025, at about 3:30 pm, police received a call in relation to a female apparently passing out behind the wheel of a car. The vehicle was in the parking lot of a business on Central Avenue.

Investigation revealed that the driver was a 36-year-old female who was observed to be under the influence of drugs. There was also a quantity of drugs and other paraphernalia in view within the vehicle. These items were seized, and the substance was sent for testing to determine its exact composition.

The driver was placed under arrest and taken to the Brockville Police Service for an examination by a Drug Recognition Expert. There, she performed poorly on the testing, which resulted in her being charged with operating while impaired by drugs and possession of a Schedule 1 substance. She was released with a future court date.
