
Brockville – The Brockville Braves won one and lost one in their home-and-home series with the Pembroke Lumber Kings over the weekend in CCHL action.
Friday – Brockville 4, Pembroke 3:

The Braves defeated the Pembroke 4–3 in overtime on Friday night at the Brockville Memorial Centre.
Braves forward Jesse Lumsden opened the scoring on the power play in the first, followed by second-period goals from Peter Legostaev and Vital Dinis to give Brockville a 3–1 lead.
Pembroke answered with two quick goals early in the third from Boismier and Greco to tie the game at 3. In overtime, Dinis netted his second of the night at 3:37 to secure the win. Oliver Li stopped 23 shots for the Braves in the win.
Sunday – Pembroke 6, Brockville 5:
The Pembroke Lumber Kings beat the Brockville Braves 6–5 on Sunday evening at the Pembroke Memorial Centre in a back-and-forth game.
The Lumber Kings opened the game with a goal from Bonspille just 1:45 into the first period. Brockville responded quickly through McNally, but goals from Tremblay and Mongeau gave the Lumber Kings a 3–1 lead after 20 minutes.
Brockville stormed back early in the second with goals from McNally (his second), Harry, and Buller (PP) to take a 4–3 lead. Pembroke tied the game at 4–4 late in the frame with a goal from Fortier.
In the third period, Greco gave Pembroke the lead at 5:18, but Brockville’s Sled tied the game again at 14:22. With under two minutes remaining, Kobylecki scored the game-winner for Pembroke, sealing the 6–5 victory.
Despite the loss, Brockville’s McNally had a three-point night (2G, 1A), while Dinis recorded three assists. Pembroke outshot Brockville 43–31, and goaltender Heideman earned the win with 26 saves. Galbraith made 37 stops for the Braves.
The Braves will host the Hawkesbury Hawks this Friday night at the Memorial Centre. The puck drops at 7:30 pm.
