The new centre officially opened its doors on September 15, 2025, welcoming 39 toddlers and preschoolers into newly created, high-quality, licensed child care spaces—meeting a critical need for families in the region.
The expansion is part of the Canada Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) system and is supported through the CWELCC Leeds and Grenville Directed Growth Strategy, which is funded by both federal and provincial governments. The updated strategy will create 637 new affordable, licensed child care spaces across Leeds and Grenville by the end of 2026.
