Whether teeing off under golden leaves, paddling through peaceful waters, testing your scare stamina, or wandering through glowing pumpkin paths, your perfect autumn getaway starts with SLPC:
Outdoors & Camping
Enjoy peaceful fall camping, vibrant foliage and fewer crowds. Book a cozy cabin or park your recreational vehicle amid the crisp fall air! Reservations can be made online (available at select sites) until October 25.
Visit Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary, where stunning fall colours create the perfect setting for birdwatching and photography during one of nature’s most awe-inspiring events: the fall migration.
Drive through breathtaking views along the Thousand Islands Parkway and Long Sault Parkway, set against the picturesque shoreline of the St. Lawrence River.
Golf and Boating
Tee off at Upper Canada Golf Course, where the picturesque fall setting enhances every swing. Reserve a tee time online until October 26, 2025 (weather dependent).
Rent a canoe, kayak, or stand-up paddleboard from Crysler Park Marina and enjoy the cool autumn air with a peaceful paddle along the St. Lawrence River. Boating during sweater weather? Transient docking and overnight cabin rentals available.
Historic Sites
Fort Fright at Fort Henry is a terrifying immersive experience through the Fort’s narrow hallways, interior ditch and tunnels, brought to life with cinematic animatronics, immersive sets, professional actors and spine-tingling effects. Select evenings October 3 to November 1, 2025.
Pumpkinferno at Upper Canada Village is a luminary experience for all ages, a mesmerizing installation of thousands of hand-carved, glowing artificial pumpkins along a magical self-guided tour set against historic backdrops. Select evenings October 3 to November 1, 2025.
Kingston Pen Tours offer an in-depth look at life behind the walls of Canada’s oldest maximum-security prison.
