Disturbance at Gas Station Leads to an Arrest

Brockville – On October 16, 2025, at about 5:00 am, police received a call to the Proxy gas station located at 355 Stewart Blvd. Information was that there was a fight taking place between two females and a male, all found to be residents of Quebec.

When officers arrived on scene, they found that the altercation had escalated as the two females wanted to leave the male in Brockville, and leave in the vehicle with his belongings.

Investigation revealed that one female was identified to be 25 years old, and the driver of the vehicle had been consuming alcohol. A roadside screening sample was taken, which resulted in an “alert.” That female had her driver’s licence suspended for three days.

During the investigation, the second female involved was identified to be a 25-year-old, and consuming alcohol. When officers were questioning her regarding her involvement, she became agitated and began growling while punching and kicking their vehicle.

Several attempts were made to de-escalate the situation; however, the female began striking the vehicle with her head, actually lowering her head and ramming into the vehicle.

Officers placed her under arrest do to her level of intoxication and to prevent her from hurting herself. During the arrest, she kicked and spat on one of the arresting officers. As a result, she was charged with two counts of assaulting a peace officer and public intoxication, and was held for a bail hearing.

Advice was provided to the other subjects involved with no additional charges laid.
