
Brockville – On October 19, 2025, at about 10:30 pm, police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Pearl Street East. The vehicle was occupied by two subjects: a 34-year-old male driver of the vehicle and a 42-year-old male passenger.
Open alcohol was observed inside the vehicle. Investigation revealed that sobriety was not a factor in this incident; however, the vehicle was searched to ensure there were no other sources of open alcohol. During the search, officers located quantities of cocaine, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, several cellphones, Canadian currency, scales and baggies.
The vehicle was towed, both subjects arrested, and released with future court dates for the following offences:
34-year-old, driver
- Possession of crack cocaine for the purposes of trafficking
- Possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking
- Possession of methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking
- Having care or control of a motor vehicle with an open container of alcohol
- Fail to surrender the insurance card
42-year-old, passenger
- Possession of crack cocaine for the purposes of trafficking
- Possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking
- Possession of methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking
