
Brockville – On November 4, 2025, at about 11:00 pm, police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of King Street East and Bennett Street. The officer recognized the driver of the vehicle to be a 58-year-old male, who he knew to have a suspended driver’s licence.
Upon stopping the vehicle, the officer observed open alcohol and cannabis inside. Due to all these circumstances, the driver was arrested. Upon an additional search, he was found to also be in possession of a small quantity of crack cocaine.
As a result, the vehicle was towed for a seven-day impoundment, and he was charged with various Provincial Offence,s including:
- Driving a vehicle while under suspension
- Driving a vehicle with an open container of liquor
- Drive a vehicle with cannabis readily available
- Possession of unmarked cigarettes
