Kemptville 73 Won 4-3 in OT Over Nepean Raiders Friday Night in CCHL

Kemptville – The Kemptville 73’s took two points away from the Nepean Raiders after a 4–3 overtime win after a dramatic finish at the North Grenville Municipal Centre on Friday night in CCHL.

Nepean led multiple times, including Benoit’s early third-period marker, but Venance forced overtime with a goal at 19:59 of the third period.

In the extra frame, a late Nepean penalty set up Voisey’s power-play winner at 3:28. Sweetapple, Mullins, and Venance also scored for the 73’s, while Legault, Tellier, and Benoit supplied the Raiders’ offence. Donovan made 22 saves for Kemptville, and Brant turned aside 35 shots for Nepean.
