Brockville – On November 28, 2025, police received information of a theft that had taken place at the Home Hardware store on Stewart Boulevard. This took place on a previous date of November 26, 2025.
Information was that a male subject attended the store and stole a Milwaukee cordless impact tool, valued at approximately $500.00.
On December 3, 2025, with the assistance of the Smiths Falls Police Service, the suspect responsible for this theft was identified and arrested. The suspect was identified as a 33-year-old male who was involved in a separate investigation in Smiths Falls.
Through that investigation and information sharing, it was determined that the subject was responsible for the theft of the merchandise. The subject was released with conditions and a future court date after being charged with theft under $5,000.00.
