
Brockville – The Brockville Braves lost to the Navan Grads 6–2 on Sunday afternoon at the Navan Memorial Centre.
After Brockville opened the scoring midway through the first period, Owen Knight tied the game on the power play to even it up after one. Navan took control in the second period with goals from Josh Kaufman, D’Urso, and Purdy, building a 4–1 lead.
The Grads continued to roll in the third as Paris scored on the power play early, followed by Lindsay to extend the lead to 6–1. Brockville added a late goal, but Navan held firm to close out the win.
The Braves were scheduled to host the Smiths Falls Bears this Friday night, but the game was postponed until the new year.
This weekend, Brockville will be playing Saturday and Sunday afternoon games at the CCHL Showcase in Rockland, and then they are off until the new year.
The Braves’ next home game will be January 2, 2026, vs the Cornwall Colts.
