City of Brockville & Waste Collection Contractor Have Cancelled Garbage Collection for Today Due to Icy Weather

Brockville – Due to the current weather conditions, the City of Brockville and its waste collection contractor have jointly decided to cancel garbage collection for today, Monday, December 29, to prioritize the health and safety of collection workers.

The adjusted collection schedule for the remainder of the week is as follows:

→ Monday collection will take place on Tuesday
→ Tuesday collection will take place on Wednesday
→ Wednesday collection will take place on Friday
→ Thursday (New Year’s Day) collection will take place on Saturday

It is the City’s understanding that recycling collection is continuing at this time, but may change depending on conditions. Any updates will be shared as they become available.
