VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS: Brockville Braves Lost Both CCHL Games Over the Weekend

Brockville – The Brockville Braves lost both of their CCHL games over the weekend, losing 5-3 to the Renfrew Wolves on Friday night and 7-3 to the Rockland Nationals on Sunday.

On Friday night, Renfrew struck first with goals from Harris and Jukes, before Lowry scored late in the first for the Braves to cut the deficit to 2–1.

In the second period, Arango scored on the power play to restore Renfrew’s two-goal lead, with Carolan replying for Brockville to make it 3–2. DeFazio added insurance early in the third, Sled responded for Brockville, but Nicolas Lalande finished the scoring with a shorthanded empty-net goal.

Ogini stopped 31 of 34 shots for Renfrew; Galbraith made 17 saves for Brockville.

On Sunday, the Rockland Nationals rolled to a 7–3 win over the Brockville Braves at the Rockland Arena. Le Houillier opened the scoring early, with Belleau adding two goals as Rockland built a 5–2 lead after two periods.

Brockville’s goals came from Vohra, Dervish, and Carolan, but Rockland sealed it with third-period markers from Le Houillier and Myloserdnyy. The Nationals outshot the Braves 49–30. Newton made 27 saves on 30 shots for Rockland, while Li stopped 42 of 49 in the Brockville net.

The Braves are in Cornwall on Thursday night to play the Colts. Game time is 7:30 pm.
