
Mallorytown – The Leeds County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) located a vehicle involved in a robbery in the City of Kingston at the Mallorytown service centre in the eastbound direction of Highway 401.
On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, Leeds OPP received notification from the Kingston Police Service (KPS) to be on the lookout for a suspect vehicle linked to a robbery within their jurisdiction. Shortly before 2:00 p.m., a member of the OPP Highway Safety Division (HSD) observed the unoccupied vehicle at the Mallorytown service centre.
Members of Leeds OPP proceeded to search and contain the area in search of the occupant(s). The OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), OPP Canine Unit, OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS) and members of KPS attended the scene and assisted with the investigation.
