
Brockville — The Brockville and Area Music and Performing Arts Hall of Fame is celebrating on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the Brockville Arts Centre its 18th annual Induction Ceremony.
They will be inducting five more into the hall of fame for outstanding contribution to the region’s artistic legacy.
2026 Inductees
- Lois Lorimer – Professional
- Mary Hughes – Behind the Scenes
- Paul Harding – Teacher
- Sue Braden – Actor/Performer
- Fiddlers Plus – Band/Performing Group
Everything gets underway at 6:30 pm with the Red Carpet Ceremony hosted by Bruce Wylie and Lisa Leroux with the Induction Ceremony beginning at 7:00 pm hosted by Wylie and Michael Trussell.
The ceremony is free to the public to attend at the Arts Centre.
There will be performances by the inductees as well as the debut of the BHL Big Band, under the direction of Chris Coyea.
Each year, people can nominate people in the categories of, Teacher, Musician, Actor/Performer, Professional, Behind the Scenes/Production, and Band/Performing Group. They also honour posthumously individuals who are no longer with us, but who significantly contributed to the arts in Brockville and area.
The Brockville and Area Music and Performing Arts Hall of Fame has been honouring local artists and their contribution to local entertainment since 2006.
