DESCRIPTION:Event open to all seniors and features 10 presenters and more than 20 exhibitors! \nTo celebrate Seniors Month\, Steve Clark\, MPP for Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes\, and Michael Barrett\, MP for Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands-Rideau Lakes are teaming up to host their first-ever Seniors Expo. \nThe event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday\, June 9th at New Hope Church\, 1811 Second Concession\, Brockville. MPP Clark and MP Barrett thanked Seniors Support Services-LLG for their help in organizing the Expo. \n“I’m really looking forward to this great day of information and engagement to help us celebrate Seniors Month\,” said MPP Clark. “It’s a terrific opportunity to showcase the many activities available locally to keep seniors healthy\, active\, and connected to our community.” \n“This Seniors Expo is a wonderful way to bring the community together\, share helpful resources that support seniors and their families\, and recognize the incredible contributions of our seniors\,” said MP Barrett. “I’m looking forward to the conversations and connecting with our community.” \nThe Seniors Expo features over 20 exhibitors and the following lineup of presenters: \n\nKristopher Fournier – Leeds Grenville Paramedic Service\nSamantha Peters & Christine Bowlby – Brockville General Hospital’s Hospital-To-Home Program\nHarsh Patel – Parkedale Pharmacy\nMark Werner – Brockville 50+ Activity Centre\nBryan Edgeley – YMCA of Eastern Ontario\nNatalie Aitken – Stroke Network of Eastern Ontario\nLisa Mercier – Rideau Community Health Services Dental Health Programs\nAinslie Coleman\, Barrister and Solicitor – Wills and Powers of Attorney\nMelissa Hindman\, United Way Leeds & Grenville – Volunteerism\nOntario Provincial Police Const. Joey Mason – Fraud Prevention\n\nThere will also be Body Breaks during the day with Jo-Anne Hanley and Kim Ducharme\, as well as refreshments and a light lunch for attendees.
