Brockville – The Brockville Concert Association celebrated their 75th anniversary this year, but it may be its last if they don’t get more volunteers involved.
According to the Brockville Concert Association in a last-ditch effort, they are putting a call out to the community to see if any volunteers would come forward in the next 30 days.
The concert association held its annual general meeting on Monday. With almost no one left to run it, there was talk of dissolving it at that meeting, said Samia O’Day, the association’s president, but O’Day is not ready to give up yet.
They are going to wait 30 days from this past Monday to see if any volunteers come forward.
The Association says they are seeking board members and a variety of skills from publicity, booking musicians, venues, musician hospitality, social media, and website maintenance.
