Maitland – Highway 401 eastbound lanes from Maitland, CR 15 (Interchange 705) to Highway 16 at Johnstown were closed this morning for close to 6 hours due to a Tractor-Trailer collision that occurred before 5:30 am this morning.
Grenville OPP, with Leeds & Grenville Paramedics, Prescott Fire assisted by Augusta Fire responded this morning.
OPP says that a tractor-trailer was rear-ended by another tractor-trailer. The driver was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The lanes were re-opened after 1:00 pm today.
