Brockville – The Brockville Braves dropped a close one to Hawkesbury Hawks 4-2 on the road on Saturday night in the CCHL.
The Braves returned to their “Matt Ward” style of play and effort on Saturday night but were unable to hang onto a very tentative 2- 1 lead in the 3rd period.
Edouard Piché, in one of his rare starts, was once again very strong in the Braves net and made 44 saves during the game.
Brockville will host the Nepean Raiders on Friday night at the Memorial Centre. The puck drops at 7:30 pm.
