Braves Lost 5-1 to Nepean Friday Night in CCHL – VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS

Brockville – The Brockville Braves lost 5-1 to the Nepean Raiders in CCHL action Friday night at the Memorial Centre.

It was a close game until the third period when the bottom fell out for Brockville.

Nepean would get on the board first with a goal in the first period by Raiders’ Nicolas Papineau. In the second period, Brockville scored on a goal by Anoushan Mugunthan at 8:15.

The game was tied 1-1 entering the third period, but Nepean would go on to score four goals by Joshua Reid on a powerplay, Oliver Band on a powerplay, Brandon Reinisch on the powerplay and Dylan Pollock.

The Braves are in Carleton Place on Sunday afternoon to take on the Canadians. The puck drops at 3:00 pm.
