The 2nd annual School Cup Varsity Girls Hockey Game and the Brockville Police vs. The Brockville Rifles Hockey Game!
Brockville – The Brockville Winter Classic Weekend kicked off on Thursday with two hockey games at the Rotary Park outdoor rink (ODR).
First was the 2nd annual School Cup Varsity Girls hockey game between Thousand Islands Secondary School (TISS) and St. Mary Catholic High School which took place Thursday at noon.
St Mary won a close game 6-5 over TISS.
Thursday evening was the Brockville Police vs. the Brockville Rifles hockey game at the Rotary ODR.
The Brockville Police won 8-2 over the Rifles in the game.
At the end of the game the Brockville Police Association made a generous donation of $500 to the Brockville Winter Classic Weekend for the Rotary ODR upgrades.
