
Brockville – The John Howard Society & Connect Youth hosted a Coldest Night of the Year Fundraising Walk on Saturday at the Brockville Shopping Centre in Brockville.
The Coldest Night of the Year is a 2 & 5 km walk which is hosted in 190+ cities across Canada in support of the JHSKD/Connect Youth’s work in Leeds & Grenville.
The event saw close to 127 walkers with 25 teams participating in the annual fundraiser in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness.
Close to $33,000 was raised from the event.
