Gananoque Islanders Won 4-1 Over Tweed Saturday in Game 1 of their Semi-final Series in EOSHL Action

Gananoque – The Gananqoe Islanders won 4-1 over the Twwed Oil Kings in game one of their EOSHL semi-final series on Saturday in Gananoque.

The Islanders Ryan Pawlikowski with assists from Ben Blasko and Graeme Brown scored in the first period.

In the second period, Gan would score two more on goals by Ryan Verbeek (Ryan Pawlikowski, Kevin Domingue) and Kevin Domingue (Ben Blasko, Chad Duchesne). Tweed would score their lone goal in the period from Mitch Purdie (Zack Elson, Will Jones).

Ben Blasko with an assist from Kevin Domingue would pick up the Islander’s fourth goal in the third period.

Game two is Sunday at 2:30 pm in Tweed.
