Brockville – Anne Dixon began her career in 1989 with the City of Brockville and in 2001 when the Province of Ontario downloaded family benefits to the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, Anne assumed the role of Family Support Worker.
Anne has fulfilled many roles, including Ontario Works Case Manager, and Eligibility Review Officer, and in 2020, transferred as a Case Manager to the Housing Department where she remains today, working in the Prescott satellite office.
In her Warden’s remarks at January’s Counties Council meeting, Nancy Peckford said, “Anne’s ability to provide support, empathy, and guidance to empower the people that we serve is amazing and serves as a role model to all staff. Anne cares deeply about people, and the Counties is so very fortunate to have had Anne dedicate her past 40 years to uplifting people in our community.
