Brockville – The City of Brockville posted that due to the upswing in temperatures, the Rotary Park outdoor rink will close today for the season.
As planned, the Parks team was able to get the outdoor ice pad to March Break.
The post said, “We hope you enjoyed the outdoor rink this winter, and we are excited to think about the changes we have planned for when it reopens in December.”
“Although the outdoor rink closing is sad news, it also means we are one step closer to spring, and that means getting out and enjoying the Parks, Harbours, Trails, and Islands.”
Next, the city parks department will be working hard to get the tunnel reopened as soon as they can, among other things.
