Spencerville – The Spencerville Mill & Museum’s annual Canoe Poker Run is set for this Saturday, May 23rd along the South Nation River.
Support a great cause, the Spencerville Mill & Museum and paddle on the scenic South Nation River.
Registration includes lunch and a chance to win $500 in prize money.
REMINDER this year’s event will be capped at 250 registrants.

BBQ lunch will be prepared by the Spencerville & District Optimist Club in the Spencerville Mill Park.
Prizes totalling $500 in cash will be awarded to participants with the best poker hands.
They will be launching from O’Hagan’s Bridge (near 5825 County Road 18, a private residence), just 8 km north of Prescott. Registration opens at 8:30 AM, and they ask that you arrive no earlier.
To ensure smooth traffic flow and minimal disruption to local residents, please park your vehicles safely along McCrea Road. There will be a designated area near registration for unloading vessels. However, vehicles must be moved to McCrea Road immediately after unloading.
During the paddle, volunteers will be stationed at each bridge to give you a playing card as part of your poker hand. Shout out the number on the back of your first card, and they’ll mark it and pass it to you.
