“Brockville Pride was formed in 2010 as a walk to raise awareness of a recent suicide of a 25LGI3JOIA+ person within the. community. The painful loss echoed a larger issue within the community, which was the continued acceptance of homophobia and lack of support for those in the 2SLGHTCLIAA+ community.” Brockville Pride

Since then Brockville Pride has grown from a walk to a full week of activities and education. The Pride Board provides ongoing education, advocacy and programming including the annual parade, fundraisers, educational speakers and community events.
