Bunnies Win Game 1 at Floyd Rock Memorial Tourney in Plattsburgh New York Thursday

Game Two is this afternoon at 5:30 pm versus the host team, the Clinton County Mariners!

Plattsburgh NY – The Brockville Bunnies won game 1 on Thursday at the Floyd Rock Memorial Tourney in Plattsburgh New York.

The Bunnies fall behind 3-0 after the first inning but hop back for a big 5-3 win over Adrean Post of Utica NY.

“Always nice to beat teams when you overhear we playing Bunnie Rabbits(like we haven’t heard it all)..makes the win that much sweeter.”

Lucas No-No Gravlin got the win pitching a complete game and giving up only 5 hits, and 2 earned runs but making life hard with 6 walks and getting 7 strikeouts and many in key spots with runners on.

Ethan Pert with a big game at the plate with 3 hits including a two-out two RBI single in the bottom of the sixth to give the Bunnies the lead. Noah Deryaw also came up clutch with a two-run single in the bottom of the fifth to tie the game.

Ryan Robinson, Wyatt Last, Charlie Todd and Gravlin had one hit each.

The Brockville Bunnies play the host team, the Clinton County Mariners this afternoon at 5:30 pm. The Bunnies wrap up the round-robin portion of the tourney on Saturday, playing the Montreal Titans at 12:30 pm.

The two-team tourney with the top six making the playoff round with the other six playing exhibition games, so the Bunnies are guaranteed a fourth game.
