Mallorytown – Front of Yonge presents its annual Agri-Culture – Beyond The Business Of Farming this Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the Mallorytown Legion.
The family event is being held to celebrate the farming culture, which engages and educates the public on what farmers do and how they do it.
There will be various booths set up to tell the story of agriculture in the community and it is a chance for people to learn where your food comes from and get to know the families behind every plate.
It is being held from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Mallorytown Legion, 14 Quabbin Road in Mallorytown.
There will be something for everyone; “milk” Maple the Cow, pony rides, Smoothie Bike, 4H kids & their farm animals, local vendors, kids’ farm crafts table, face painting, colouring table, live music, farm safety demonstrations, educational booths and outdoor games.
There will also be a breakfast served from 8:00 a.m. to 10: a.m. by the legion and a BBQ lunch from Noon to 1:30 p.m..
