Westport Wins 3-2 in OT Sunday Over Metcalfe Jets

Westport – The Westport Rideaus downed the Metcalf Jets 3-2 in overtime on Sunday in NCJHL action in Westport.

Scoring the winning goal for the Rideaus in overtime was Matthew Leaver with an assist from Robert Onion. This was his second goal of the game.

Westport’s Robert Onion with help from Lucas Thompson scored the first goal in the first period. Matthew Leaver would score a goal in the second period.

The Rideaus will host the Morrisburg Lions this Friday night starting at 7:30 pm at the WTC Communications Centre.
