Scoring the three goals for Athens were Gavin Clarke (Curson) in the second period, and Wylie Dixon with two goals in the third period.
The Aeros outshot the Canadians 41 to 32 during the game.
Athens will host the Ottawa Junior Canadians on Saturday at Centre 76. The game starts at 7:30 pm.
